Reading Fc complete transfer for George Evans from Man City. The 21-year-old has now joined Championship side Reading on a free transfer.
Evans has chosen the Royals after rejecting chance to sign for Brentford.

Looks like Kermogant is coming to Reading, player wants to join, just need to sort out the fee with Bournemouth. Many championship clubs are interested in him but looks like Reading will get him.

Targets for Reading are: Tom Bradshaw (have been looking st him for a while) , Conor Washington, Yann Kermogant, Bradley Dack and Steve sidwell.
Many championship teams are looking at Washington and Bradshaw. Washington would cost around £3m whereas Bradshaw could cost as little as £1m, Dack could cost about the same if not, slightly more. Sidwell is likely to be a loan. Kermogant is looking unlikely, however if we can't get anyone else in then it's likely he'll join.

Are Reading interested in anyone? Doesn't seem to be any rumours flying about!?

{Ed002's Note - It is more difficult to know what the plans are now that Stevie has gone. Certainly Jason Cummings is still an option. And I understand that with Stevie gone that the transfer of Dillon Powers (that was almost certainly going to happen in January) has also probably gone.

Interest in the following players likely left with Stevie as well: Auxerre midfielder Brahim Konate, Gent's Moses Simon and Galaxy's Gyasi Zardes (who Liverpool made two separate approaches to the MLS about) with have Genk and Shimizu S-Pulse both interested.

I will see if we can find anything more out.}

After looking at him in the summer, Reading have offered over £2m for LA Galaxy's Gyasi Zardes. Could be a great addition.

Hey Eds, a question I've been wondering for a few years now is about UAE player Omar Abdulrahmen. I remember reading last summer was a good time for him to move to Europe but it never happened. Do you have any clue on this? 

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing new as such. Abdulrahman has been courted by Sporting Lisbon and Manchester City, spending time with both during the summer of 2013. Ajax, Lyon and Hamburg (and probably others) have also expressed interest in the Al Ain player but he seemingly has no great desire to move.}
