Asamoah Gyan on verge of a shock move to the Royals! The former Sunderland striker who earns £227,000 a week in China is currently in Berkshire discussing a loan move to the Madejski Stadium. Would be Interesting to find out how much of those wages we end up paying though but could be the striker we are missing. I think Stam is doing a good job and we have to be patient. Urz!

We are not hoping to sign Van Der Vaart, he contacted us offering his services through his agent. Although Stam is interested, he says it wouldn't be an easy one and that there have been no talks with the player yet. We have just signed talented young striker Yakou Meite from PSG though and Stam says there could be a couple joining him before the start of the season and at least one of them should be a defender.

That defender could be Liam Moore of Leicester City.

Reading have made a breakthrough in talks with Leicester for the 23 year old defender, although a price has yet to be agreed, Royals are confident they can complete the deal in time for Moore to be involved against Preston on the opening day of the Championship next Saturday. That could be two good signings, Urz!

Reading are looking to sign 3 more players this week. Finnish goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola from ajax cape town I'm abit surprised we are buying a keeper. Defender Gaston campi on a season loan from racing club due avellaneda with a view to perm deal end of season. Midfielder john swift who is a free agent after leaving chelsea

I heard Liverpool might want up to 4m for canos if that is the case its a no go.
